Monster Automatics. What other new music do little kids like?

My DS loves What that coming over the Hill is that a Monster by the Automatics. Now Top of the Pops has gone and I listen to Talk radio. I don't know any new stuff he might like. I love seeing him bop about and sing. Whats on your kids playlist? Must go now and do some housework!

I Predict a Riot by the Kaiser Chiefs, DOn't think Too Much by the Zutons and Alright by Supergrass are 3 that my DS likes.

Those are the 4 songs mine are obsessed with at the moment - over and over and over agin I have to listen to them - mind you not really appropriate listening for a 3 and 7 year old! (at least 2 of them!)

10-yr-old is more discerening and currently likes Fratellis, The Levellers, Linkin Park, Led Zep, Doors, The Kinks and Yellowcard.

DD also loves The Automatic. Other ones at the moment are:

Walcott - Vampire Weekend, fantastic for flat out bouncing
Perfect Gentleman - Wyclef Jean, great for summer hip shaking and grooving!

Ds likes Ben Folds Five, but he's 8 and not really little

He and dd both like Tales from Turnpike House (St Etienne), the Scissor Sisters (some strategic la-laaing over the occasional lyric might be necessary), Amadou & Mariam and Elbow Seldom Seen Kid, right now
De la Soul and Go! Team also popular

My older two are rather partial to Nirvana atm, and we have hours of fun in the car listening to the 3 year old's made up lyrics...

9 yo is a bit of a muso and currently listening to Sufjan Stevens and his dad's collection of American New Folk... (Rachel someone or other...)

My 5 year old loves 'Cant Stand Me Now' by The Libertines. He has been a loyal listener of that tune since he was 2

My 3 yr old loves Johnny Cash especially 'Ring of Fire' and On Call by Kings of Leon.
Our stereo is hijacked daily

before I go I must comment THE CLASH who doesn't like the Clash brillant.London's burning is FAB because WE LIVE BY THE RIVER He has old parents so he also likes Motorhead, Jam, Madness,of course. The Duellers a local band who tell him not to take drugs and brush his teeth twice a day. AND many more old bands and songs.
