It’s a zombie thread but I’m just here to explain - in a bowl of branflakes you get a shit ton of cornflakes but only a few raisins. So a raisin girl is a bit more of a special thing than all the cornflakes.

I'd never been bothered enough to look it up but I'm happy to know what she was on about in that song.

Whilst I'm here, got to give her props for out Slayering Slayer with that bonkers cover of Raining Blood.

I used to be obsessed with Tori Amos. Her music got me through some very tough times with stuff going on at home and severe bullying.

I always thought a cornflake girl was a boring, standard, run of the mill girl. The raisin girls were the exciting, naughty, popular, spicy ones. I related it to myself being a cornflake girl and getting bullied by the raisin girls.

Crucify and precious things are my faves.

I love her music so much but it always makes me cry…!

I was also obsessed with Tori, bought all her records and dyed my hair red. I saw her live twice and both times were amazing.

Little Earthquakes got me through a rough patch in my life, I used to sit and watch the video every night. My favourite songs from there are Crucify and Silent All These Years.

I also loves Strange Little Girls and boys for Pele, but she lost me a bit from A kinda Fairytale onwards.

I saw she has a new album out, is a song from it. Unfortunately it is very electronic.

I'm away to listen to some classic tori now!
