Anyone else trying for Radiohead tickets in Europe?

If so, what's your preferred venue and why?

I've registered and would like to get tickets for London. There's lots of other thing already on the calendar for the week though so we can really only go on one of the dates - it's going to be a bit of a long shot!

I'm trying to avoid the O2 as I got vertigo last time I went. Not sure what the other venues are like in comparison but willing to give them a try, even if it means extra travel.

Good luck @SaffyWall I just hope it's easier than Oasis as I failed dismally there!

I went to Berlin to see a band last year, rather than the UK. The tour was different as the band was moving on every day. So a much much shorter set, less time on stage and a support singer I had never heard of. I paid a lot for tickets and wasnt expecting this at all. Even the Germans were a little disappointed.

Ya me and son registered. Not holding out much hope but you never know. Was so much easier in the past, very little rigmarole.

TBF saw them.2003 also not that keen on stadium gigs. Fingers crossed tho

My kids and all their friends. We went to see the Radiohead artwork in Oxford. I’d recommend it if you’re a fan.
Why is getting tickets SO fraught and awful these days?

The info says you will have a better chance the closer you are to the venue, though how that's going to be checked I don't know. Hoping to get code for London tickets 🤞

I saw that, but I wouldn't enjoy it at the O2 so would rather not go at all. It's a shame as it's not too far from where I live, but there we are.

I do miss the old days!! I also wish they'd do smaller venues along with the huge ones. I loved the Brixton Academy when I went there earlier this year.

DS and friends are. But they can only go to London - flying to another European country is completely unaffordable.

I always thought Radiohead were dreary personally, but he's quite keen to go. I can't get my head around all this faff to buy a flaming ticket to see a band.

I would love to know if anyone is successful btw. Nowhere as much hoohaa as the Oasis debacle, but fewer tickets available too I suspect. And perhaps more competition from international buyers?

When did you do it @MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet ?? The link closed on Sunday at 10pm.

I did mine on Sunday morning and received a text straight away, followed by an email.

No idea when I'll hear anything else though.

@vetprob - the email says you will hear by 10pm on 10th September (today) if you are successful. Then you'll get a code to buy tickets. If you get a code you can 'join the sale' for one of the venues you indicated in the registration process and buy up to 4 tickets once the sale opens on 12th September. They also say in the email that receiving a code does not guarantee tickets as it's first come first served once the tickets go on sale. (The process is to stop touts buying a load of tickets and selling them on at inflated prices.)

I registered and so did DD and DH but not seen anything yet. We know it's a long shot!

Link just came through! I need to make sure I'm somewhere sensible where I can get in the queue on Friday (and wait for hours no doubt..)

They were my favourite band for decades! I was obsessed.

Unfortunately their position on Gaza means I won't be buying anything they're selling.

Nothing has come for me yet either. It was mentioned you should add the email address to your contacts to avoid any emails going into spam by mistake, so maybe do that to be on the safe side.

My DH has got one! So they are being sent out. I haven't had one yet still.

I have applied. For the O2. Never been there.

Waiting for an email. Nothing Yet! The 1st email went into my promotions section so checking that and junk mail.

Must try to get to the Ashmolean exhibition.
