It was with someone called Matt, i also had my first kiss (a peck on the lips under the mistletoe) he asked me out, i said yes, but i avoided him I was 12 - the music : Stevie Wonder, i just called to say i love you. Twenty years later, i went to see DP at one of his jobs he was doing with a mate - it was him - i didnt realise at the time but soon did Its all cool though

It was with James, who I had had a crush on for ages, to Lady by Kenny Rogers. I was the happiest 13 yr old on earth for about 20 minutes until I found out he had asked me to dance as a bet.

After that I mostly hid in bathrooms when the slow dances came on.

Nobody ever wanted to dance with me, being the geek in braces, permanently clutching a novel I'm not surprised.

When dh- then dp- found out this fact on Christmas day he put on 'Gene Pitney- Something's Gotten Hold of my Heart' (we were at the ILs' in my defence, only music available) and we danced in front of the open fire.

The dance was with Craig. I was 12. The song was Say You, Say Me - Lionel Richie. It was new year's eve 1985/6. I'd had a crush on him since 1981. After the dance we walked next to a dam together (we were at a sailing regatta) and at midnight, he kissed me (no tongue). I died and went to heaven right there.

i was 13 and wearing a dreadfully unflattering pale yellow batwing dress with black mock croc stilettos. it was the fishing club dinner. no idea re song but it was ghastly. so was he.
