I've just seen them on Jonathan Ross and am going to see them in Birmingham on Monday night. I know it's totally uncool but I can't wait. I was a Donny fan when I was about 10. I still absolutely love Crazy Horses!

I prefer Neil Diamond

ImPinkThereforeImSpam · 23/05/2008 23:16

Nooooooo!

Wordsmith · 23/05/2008 23:18

Like I said, I know it's totally uncool - but come on, if I'm brave enough to out myself surely someone else is? (PS you have to be over 40 to understand - I'm not saying the music is great, it's the memories!).

The Neil Diamond thread has more messages than the Osmonds one.

I loved donny. i don't quite see why now I have to admit

UniversallyChallenged · 23/05/2008 23:35

Was - and still am - a fan of Jimmys. I could eat him he's soooo cute

TsarChasm · 23/05/2008 23:35

Just watched JR too.

cornsilk · 23/05/2008 23:36

I was going to marry Jimmy. I had 'Long haired lover from Liverpool' and my sister broke it. I cried for days.

UniversallyChallenged · 23/05/2008 23:40

cornsilk!!! I have never met another Jimmy fan most others loved typically gorgeous Donny - thought it was only ME who could tell Jimmy was the real charmer!

Tinker · 23/05/2008 23:42

I was prepared to marry Jimmy to get close to Donny.

How much work has Marie had???

Wags · 23/05/2008 23:47

Ooh, yes me too. I missed them on JR, I am packing to go on hols. Jay is my favourite, might see if its repeated a bit later... hope so, still go all funny when I see them

turquoise · 23/05/2008 23:49

I had a life size poster of Jimmy on my door - came in three separate issues of Jackie!

Was more in love with Donny though.

They seem such genuinely nice people - JR was so revoltingly sleazoid with Marie, it was cringemaking.

cornsilk · 24/05/2008 00:06

I didn't really notice Donny. I didn't notice that Jimmy was a porker either.

lou33 · 24/05/2008 00:11

omg i LOVE crazy horses, still!

i have it on cd somewhere in a comp i made

my sister went to an osmond gig and donny touched her hand, she didnt wash it for a week!

Wordsmith · 24/05/2008 09:54

Crazy Horses is on the 'Jackie' triple CD - along with a load of other dodgy but somewhat thrilling tracks.

Marie mentioned at the end of JR that she has 8 children - is that true? In which case she's definitely been rebuilt from the ground up, I'd say.

Im going to see them tonight at the Manchester Evening News arena. Myself and an old school friend. I really cant wait. In the 70's I was a Rod Stewart, David Bowie fan but The Osmonds were amazing.

Looking forward to being 17 again even if only for a few hours

'Crazzzzeeeeeeeee Horssssessss'

shabster · 24/05/2008 10:11

Already on youtube!

shabster · 25/05/2008 00:14

Just got back from the concert at the MEN arena - really wonderful night. Bravo.

Wordsmith · 28/05/2008 08:06

They were fab at The NIA in Birmingham on Mon too! Did they only do Crazy Horses once in Mcr? I was a bit disappointed we didn't get it as an encore!
