Do you listen to metal music with your kids? I tried listening to Opeth with DC (8 and 5). They said they were scared 😂

I want to try Korn next but think I’m pushing it!

Sometimes. My 8yo is more into it than my 10yo, I think 8yo is going to have similar musical tastes to me, he likes Metallica and is very sweetly into a weird little band I like called Dinosaur Pile Up 😊. My 10yo is very much into pop and says metal is just noise! I don't tend to listen to 2000s metal stuff around them as I sometimes find the lyrics can be a little much. I tend to stick my stuff on when I'm getting on with things around the house, they just humour me when I'm cleaning the kitchen to Jinjer!

Yes I do - some of it is curated and there are things that I don't play when she's around there's also things that I sing slightly different words to and she's none the wiser.

She has a very eclectic taste in music but is more into hard and heavy rock than metal (apart from the time I put parkway drive on as I'd never heard them because I'm old....she loved it, me not as much) Haven't tried opeth beyond The Great Conjuration with her as she wasn't a fan.

We've taken her to a few gigs and have some more lined up. She really wanted to go to the black Sabbath event but I wasn't lucky enough to get tickets. Some of that is probably my excitement though. It's also not "metal" I guess!

She loves (curated) type o negative though so that's a win 🤣

She's 7 by the way if that's relevant.
