Saw him about 3 years ish ago and he was amazing. The Smiths are my favourite band and most-listened to songs. Is anyone else going to see him? Grin

Yep! Manchester on Sat 7 June! So excited! Only really got into his music this past year. Not sure how he missed my radar but making up for lost time now. Which venue are you seeing him in?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/02/2025 10:53

I’m gutted that I’ve never seen The Smiths. I’ve seen Morrissey before, but his solo music is nowhere near as good. I enjoyed seeing him, but I don’t think I’d bother again.

MadisonAvenue · 15/02/2025 14:15

We’re going to Manchester, our 28 year old son is coming with us.

Me and my husband both grew up listening to The Smiths and still love them today. We finally saw Johnny Marr last year and are hoping he tours ago before too long as he was superb.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/02/2025 14:20

I'd like to see Johnny.

zerogrey · 15/02/2025 14:22

Oh wow people are going to see him on purpose!

StoorieHoose · 15/02/2025 14:28

Yes me and my 19 year old DD have tickets for Glasgow and hoping to get Pulp ones for later that week too

glassof · 15/02/2025 14:42

We saw him last summer, was good

PeachPearTeddyBear · 15/02/2025 15:00

Saw Johnny last year at Hammersmith, one of the best shows I've ever been to, great mix of The Smiths and his own music, and fabulous atmosphere

OtherCoraline · 15/02/2025 20:00

@StoorieHoose oh cool, which I was as we're going to the Glasgow one on the Thursday. I'll be nearly 37 weeks pregnant which I gave 0 thought to as I was so excited 😂

@zerogrey believe it or not 😂 I don't agree with his views on a lot of things but music has never ever touched me the way The Smiths have. Like a lot of his solo stuff too although not as much.

Jonny marr is incredible. I've seen Morrissey a couple of times. No-one. Can doubt his talent but the preaching and the fact he's now a massive twat has ruined it for me

And me.

Johnny Marr live is exceptional.

Not long to wait now, so excited! Been a fan forever & my son (18 soon) is a big fan too, he's coming with me. Well, how could he not, he was weaned on the Smths & Morrissey 😁

Enjoy tonight ByLemonFish. We are going to Glasgow on Wednesday. I cannot wait!

ByLemonFish · 02/06/2025 11:53

It was wonderful, we met guys from Scotland who couldn't get tickets for Glasgow

Enjoy 😁

SantasLargerHelper · 06/06/2025 15:49

I'm going to see him in Manchester on Saturday. Can't wait.

ByLemonFish · 07/06/2025 09:33

Enjoy, Dublin was great

gummywitch · 17/10/2025 20:43

Anyone seeing him again at the O2 in February? Enjoyed Manchester so much need to relive it again. Ticket prices ridiculous though. As it's a one-off concert, hoping he won't cancel. No opening band this time. The support at Manchester were ace, saw them again in London in August at one of their own gigs. Loads of Morrissey fans there!

gummywitch · 06/01/2026 16:55

Bumping as starting to worry he'll bloody cancel the 02 in Feb, given that he's cancelled 2 USA dates in the past few days due to 'an adverse reaction to prescription meds' He has such form for doing this crap, bloody diva that he is🙁
