Help needed with tickets..

Hello,

Myself, husband and two children were gifted tickets as a Christmas present to watch a concert at Hyde park BTS this July.

However, the tickets that have been purchased are guardian and child tickets, 2-9 years old.

my son will be turning 10 a few months before this concert, they were purchased with the mindset of both children being 7 and 9 currently.

Has anybody had experience with these tickets and do they state the age on them? I have tried to purchase a ticket on its own, however the concert is sold out.
I have sent an email to ticketmaster and currently waiting for a response but it would be such a shame to lose out on the experience, but I also don’t want to show up and be turned away.

Be honest and I imagine you could upgrade the ticket. You might have to pay more but I can't imagine a 10 year old takes up more space than a 9 year old.

I have reached out to ticketmaster with this request, so far I’ve been told to buy another ticket but the tickets are sold out.
I’m hoping they’ll give me an option to upgrade 👏🏻

Children don't have ID anyway so if he's only just out of the age bracket I wouldn't worry about it at all. I highly doubt anyone would even question the child's age.

Literally nobody will be interested in asking you to prove the age of your child. I wouldn't give this a second thought.

That’s what I assumed but we have never been to Hyde park BST concert before so wasn’t sure how the ticket system works, but we would be travelling to London and cost of travel and stay would be a lot to then be turned away. I’m hopeful that they will give me the option to upgrade to general admission 👏🏻

You are being really honest, I would simply lie.

I've been to BST several times. They are trying to get something like 65000 people through the ticket barriers as quickly as possible. Unless your son looks like a 16 year old I really wouldn't worry.

I know, he definitely doesn’t look 16 but he’s a tall 9 year old but likewise my 7 year old is also tall so unless they’re going to question ID there’s no way of knowing.
I think my fear is being turned away and it upsetting the kids but I definitely didn’t consider the amount of people that would be going, so I’m hoping if there is no option to upgrade that we just hope for the best.

@Frazzles473 When you received the guardian + child tickets, did each person end up with their own ticket or was there one ticket that allowed 1 adult and 1 child entry? My husband and I bought the guardian/child ticket for an upcoming show. When the tickets were delivered to his app there were more tickets than we were expecting. It is the right amount of tickets if each individual going into the show needs a ticket but too many if 1 adult and 1 child go in on one ticket. We have reached out to AXS for clarification multiple times and haven't received an answer. Any help you can give based on your experience would be so helpful! Thanks :)

Hello, we haven’t yet recieved the tickets. We are going to a show in Hyde park 4th July so think the tickets will be available in the next 2 weeks. However I believe we will have an individual ticket for each person, so it will be 4 tickets for us. We purchased 2 lots of the guardian and child tickets.
