Guitar help for my 6 yr old

My daughter is doing guitar lessons at school. She’s done her first term and wants to carry on so we want to get her her own guitar at home. I’m completely out of my depth here! Does anyone have any recommendations for a suitable guitar or can tell me what to look for? Bonus points if it’s pink …

Have a look at the koda brand, my dd has one and it’s fab! I don’t know if they have pink ones. Might be harder to sell on if it’s pink though to be honest. Maybe get a pink case for it instead?

Pink might be a bit niche to be fair! Thanks for the suggestion!

The teacher will recommend?

I think you also need to find out if she is being taught the Classical guitar or the Rock and Pop guitar syllabus. I had no clue that there were these two types but that was years ago when DD first started aged 6. But teacher should be able to recommend. If it helps DD had a 3/4 size Yamaha classical guitar with nylon strings as a starter guitar.

Good shout about the teacher. She learns through school so I don’t have any direct interaction with them but I have sent an email. Thanks for the recommendations.
