Will my U14 get into Wembley for the Taylor Swift concert (on the pitch)??

We're taking our two daughters to see the Eras tour at Wembley. When we bought the tickets we didn't know about the age restriction for the pitch (no U14 allowed). She will be 11 when we go.

Does anyone know if they check ID for U14s?
thanks

I am in the same boat with my 10 year old. She's extremely tall for her age and probably could just about pass for 14 but it's a big risk. Perhaps once the first Wembley leg starts in June we can get a sense of how strict they are. I think my backup plan is to bring £200 in cash and try to persuade 2 people with seated tickets to swap if it comes to it 😬

How did you get on? Did she get in ok?

Dallasdays · 27/06/2024 00:56

@MN224 it's not until 20 August. Quite a few people who went seem to think it's unlikely to be an issue, so I am going to hope for the best!

Hi, I went to the Green Day gig at Wembley last night. I was a bit concerned as my daughter is 14 tomorrow, so thought we may get stopped. However, we went through the turnstiles to scan our tickets (unmanned), had our bags checked and then were quickly given wristbands and ushered out onto the pitch. I did see a few people with children who looked under 14 (knowing what my daughter and her friends look like!) But they all seemed to get in fine. Hope that helps! Appreciate it isn't Taylor Swift, but it's the same venue.

Thanks you @Laws2008; that's reassuring. Hope you enjoyed the concert!

At the O2 this weekend they were asking for ID for under 16s standing.
Probably varies from venue to venue but wouldn't risk it personally.

What was your outcome?? Did you get your girls in??

XiCi · 29/07/2024 10:49

At Taylor, Anfield they were really strict about this and enforced it. A friend was stopped with her daughter. Security managed to find a seat for her on the night so they were incredibly lucky because they would not have been let into standing

Hi there everybody! My daughter (13) and I got general admission standing tickets for Taylor Swift at Wembley. The age limit is 14 and above so we are a bit worried it might be an issue. We are not planning on being in the crowds but have discussed staying at the back so it wouldn’t hopefully be much of a safety issue? When I bought the tickets I didn’t see the age restrictions, but if all comes to the worst could we trade on the day? I’m just wondering if people would be willing to do so on the day? My daughter is pretty average height and with cowboy boots and heigh-increasing insoles she is just a bit below my height, so should she be fine?

Can you try and swap your tickets for seated.
As you can see from the responses I. The thread, you are likely to be asked for ID for your daughter and face the possibility of being refused admission.
It's not about her height, it's about the legalities the organisers and venues are responsible for. If, god forbid, there was an accident. The age limits will likely be imposed by their insurers.

Zombie thread but can anyone confirm how they got on? I made an impulse decision and got 3 tickets but just seen no under 14’s and my DS will be 12 and half 🙈

If you check OPs previous posts she swapped the tickets for seating.

FoneyMoney · 27/09/2024 12:37

I’m going to sell them, not worth the risk

But what have you bought tickets for? The Eras tour has finished hence people being confused.

FoneyMoney · 27/09/2024 14:40

Ah sorry, missed that key part out in my panic! Coldplay at Wembley, got the tickets this morning. It’s all sorted though thankfully

Dallasdays · 27/09/2024 22:31

My (v tall for her age( 10 YO got in to Taylor pitch, no questions asked. The staff could not have cared less. I was chatting to some people we met with a 13 YO girl. They said they were asked how old she was, to which she said 14, and they then said ok fine. No asking to see ID.

However it's hard to see much from the pitch if you are short!

Fayewesman · 03/10/2024 08:08

Hey! How did you get on, Coldplay tickets bought but 11&12 year old!!

Elebag · 03/10/2024 08:10
