Hi all. I’m due in June and we were thinking of moving from Greenwich into the oxted area. Any advice as to whether it’s a good move? In particular looking at nurseries/ schools, community feel, commute, amenities. We were toying up between Sevenoaks and oxted but feels you may get a lot more space in Oxted? Any thoughts would be great! Thanks

I can't help re schools (although from my friends' experiences, I think they're good), but it seems to be a good community. Nice shops and some lovely restaurants.

Where are you looking to commute to? Trains from Oxted to Victoria/London Bridge aren't really that frequent, so you might have to take that into account.

Thanks for this!
So my husband has to commute into London but I drive into work so not really an issue for me.
any idea or comparison to Sevenoaks area at all? We also heard rumours that the crime rates have gone up in Oxted but unsure whether that is true
