Orbital - anyone watched them?

We want to treat my son to something as he's just done his GCSEs. He's quite shy about his choice of music but I said is there anyone you'd like to see live and he said he likes Orbital. I don't know how I've got to my age and not heard of them. I've found tickets to watch them, has anyone seen them play?

We have booked tickets now, dh is going with him!

I saw them at Solfest last year with their new digital display set (sorry not sure how else to explain it)

They were incredible!!! So so good! I go to life of festivals and have seen loads of bands and they’re right up there in my top few.

Yeah a few times back in the 90s, they were fab.

Saw them several times in the 90s, once about ten years ago, and once about a month ago. They’re always excellent.
They played quite a mix of stuff - lots of classics from the brown album etc, but also a lot of newer tracks including the Sleaford Mods one. The visuals were pretty good. There were a couple of duff tracks but mostly it was great. I’m not a huge fan these days, but it definitely a good night out.
