Where to sell musical instruments

My ds no longer plays the flute as he is doing his GCSEs and I am wondering if anyone can suggest any local websites or places to sell his beautiful Jupiter 511 flute. I found a music shop which would buy it but they would sell it for a lot more than I would as they want to make a huge profit. I wanted to sell it from mum to mum to keep the price down. It's been cleaned, polished and serviced. Thanks.

I was going to say our local music shop has a notice board which is often used to sell instruments.
The other route commonly used is to speak to his music teacher to let him / her know you want to sell the flute, as they will have lots of enquiries from people taking up instruments.
