Can't believe it. Very strangely emotional. Scott has been with me since my teens! Have seen me through some horrible days.

And now Maria!

Yes I am feeling strangely emotional about it too - I think it’s because I’m starting to feel old and maybe this is a sign to move over to Radio 2 and officially turn into my mother. The end of an era for sure! Will certainly miss them, they’ve left some very big boots to fill.

Oops I meant Mariah. Definitely have. I found both of their tearful thank you speeches so lovely. Scott in particular then the duo have seen me through every milestone event in my life and I too think I may go with him to Radio 2 now. Not because I'm also of a certain age but more because I'll miss him!

I couldn't listen today but I just caught the final song and love you bye. It feels so emotional because I listen on the school run. School has been horrendous over the years due to my child's disability and it is still very much ongoing. I don't know how I will get through the rest of the school years without a bamboleo wednesday. It definitely feels an end of an era.

@Sheknowtheyrhinestones they would be humbled to know how much the show has meant to you, I hope things get easier. I remember crying at Chris Moyles’ last breakfast show because that show was my commute and light entertainment in the morning and I wasn’t quite sure it would be the same!

Yea I found it moving as well. And how far has aled gone as well! Pleased for both Chris and Scott that they lasted this long and ended on a high.

Yes i remember being sad that moyles was leaving, that was my commute aswell but it was nothing like this. I think i found escapism with Scott and Chris, especially as Chris would talk about Destiny nightclub. I would have been there at the same time as we are a similar age.
Now to look for my new school run partner, I don't think it will be radio 1

Gutted as they'd just reintroduced Innuendo Bingo. 🙁
