Does anyone know when the times and dates are released for abrsm exams?

My dc exam is next week but I haven't had a date or time yet from their teacher.

When I booked DD’s last year I picked a date on the day I booked and they sent the slot about a month before the test. Piano G1.

Thank you. Did you also get the time as well as the date that far in advance?

Yes, they sent me the time slot about a month before. Not sure if that’s the norm as I’ve only done it once.

You should definitely know by now. Whoever enters the pupil chooses the day when booking, the time comes out at least a couple of weeks before.

Just checked my emails for a timeline. I booked the test on the 04/05, I chose the earliest available date for our venue as instructed by DD’s teacher, 25/06. Then I had an email on the 25/05 telling I had been given a time slot.

How do you it's next week? Is the exam taking place at a school? If so, it is the school's responsibility to draw up the timetable , generally.
If it's at a centre then the exam date and time should definitely be confirmed by now. Maybe the teacher forgot to enter the candidate and doesn't know how to tell you! 😬

Thanks all, it's at a school. I've been told today that they still don't know the time but they know it's next Wednesday!
I'm not going mad then. It all seems rather disorganised.

If its a private visit, the venue organiser will sort the timetable but that should definitely be done by now too.

Thanks @horseymum I'm trying to arrange when to bring in the instrument and tune it for my dc. Their music teacher isn't going to be there but the school said they don't even know what time her exam is yet and due to this they asked me to bring the tuned instrument in the night before, I said that's rather daft because I need to tune it as soon before the exam as possible as well as the fact I'd expect my dc to practice it the night before the exam anyway,

They've told me it's normal to not know the time yet.
