I'm booked on a baroque weekend at Finchcocks next year (squeee) and I'm after a compilation to add to my repertoire. I was considering Bach Well Tempered Clavier but I'm thinking a selection of composers might be nicer. I'm currently playing around g6/7 with a bit of grade 8 stuff to extend skills but I'd like something not too tricky so I can relax not concentrate fiercely like my current Chopin pieces 😂
We get to play harpsichords 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I play the harpsichord and my repertoire is entirely Early Music - mostly Baroque Smile

I love Bach but Well-Tempered Clavier is a bit scholarly and dry. How about his Inventions & Fantasias?

I would also recommend Rameau, whose keyboard music is incredibly beautiful. His pieces range in difficulty from easy but still sublime like l'Entretien des Muses to surprisingly challenging but very satisfying to play, like Gavotte & Six Doubles and Les Trois Mains
