After 20+ years I will be playing with a brass band again on Thursday, I am so excited, I can't wait!
Has anybody returned to brass banding after a long period and how did it go?

Sadly not local otherwise I'd suggest you join DH! Enjoy - I'm sure brass players everywhere are incredibly friendly!

Nor brass but I returned to playing piano last year and am getting so much joy out of it. I'm booked on several Finchcocks retreats abd am entering our local music festival in March 😃

Had a great time at band, right notes and wrong rhythm or right rhythm and wrong notes but it didn't matter !
