My 14 year old has outgrown the ukulele (metaphorically not physically) and wants to move to guitar. I assume at 14 she will need a full size?
She will just be messing around at home on it but is quite musical so it needs to be ok. She wants one with a strap also and not one she would need to retrofit.
Does anyone have any recommendations please. I looked at some really cheap ones such as Martin Smith but some of the reviews are dreadful - suggestions that you cannot even tune it. Not sure how accurate the reviews are. I don't want to spend a fortune at this stage but it has to be an instrument and not a toy. Thanks very much.
