I was listening to the radio earlier today and fell in love with a song but didn’t catch the artist! It sounded pretty recent so not an old song and the female singer was singing “I’m a fool for loving you” over and over. That’s about the only line I remember Think they may have thrown in something about how he knew she would never have the strength the leave...

Have you googled the lyrics. Put the word in and then the word lyric . See what it comes up with.
You could go on yo the radio station website look at the programme and see their schedule on that day. If you are still not sure, play the programme back at an approximate it was on and Shazam it.
