Recommend a keyboard to me!!

DD has a keyboard but we don’t think it’s good enough.
We don’t have the room just now for a real piano so we would like to get one that had piano touch.

All her teacher can recommend is a Roland.

Anyone know about these things. I think we would be happy to spend around £300.
Neither me or DH play so we are a little lost!

Yamaha, ideally with weighted keys and a foot pedal you plug in (but that might stretch the budget a bit though).

How old is she and what sort of stuff is she playing?

She’s 11 and a grade 2. I suppose it’s mostly classical at this stage but I think she would like to move towards more modern stuff she liked.

What sort of keyboard is she playing on at the moment?

It’s a second hand Yamaha - no piano touch though
