I have grade 8 flute and am working towards grade 5 piano. I've just got my hands on an alto sax, which I am desperately excited about! Can anyone recommend a book I could use to teach myself to play? Something aimed at people who can already read music etc. Thanks

Hi there! I play alto sax and when I started learning (around age 10), I remember using a really good book called Abracadabra Saxophone. It might be a bit basic for you but a good starting point for learning saxophone fingering etc. Good luck with the sax! You will live it Smile
