No I bloody don't. I was quite enjoying TOTP2 until Cliff popped up and have now been forced to watch some Jamie Oliver lamb shite instead - and yes Cliff, I am blaming you.

Cliff has moments of genius: Wired for Sound, Devil Woman, We Don't Talk Anymore, In The Country.

Mistletoe and Wine, Saviours Day and Millennium Prayer are not moments of genius

I think he's had quite a few Xmas number ones though. I like them. They're catchy. However I think most xmàs songs are.

I actually quite like Mistletoe and Wine. It does that “bringing religion back into Christmas” thing quite well imo.

I’ve hated Cliff Richard and his crap songs, fir many many years.

So much so that it’s a family joke and my teenage DDs used to buy me a CR calendar every year for Xmas. Oh how funny I found that —It went straight into the recycling—

Anyway they stopped doing that after his recent “incident” with the police, so every cloud has a silver lining.

There are not enough words to describe how much I loathe Mistletoe and Wine and Saviour's Day - let alone the bastardisation of Auld Lang Syne.
