Reasonably priced violin?

Well, I've been toying with the idea of taking up the violin again - I played as a child with a violin borrowed from school/teacher, promptly gave up as a teenager then took up the guitar instead. I'd like to try again and see if I can pick it back up as I think I need to get some kind of hobby.

Can anyone advise on a decent brand of violin - doesn't need to be performance standard, obviously Grin but a nice enough sound quality? And how much I'd expect to pay? Would I be able to buy one from Amazon, Argos or similar? I'm capable of tuning/retuning it, so I wouldn't need instruction on that.

DD1 likes her primavera 200, but it is a 'student' instrument iyswim. She's had a couple of different makes as she's grown and that is better than some of the others I got it from amazon for maybe £120 ish.

Thanks HamaTime! I'll have a look at that.
