13 Year Theory

There is a theory that every thirteen years music experiences a revolution.

1950 - Teddy Boys
1963 - Beatlemania
1976 - Punk
1989 - Acid House
2002 - Digitisation
2015 - ???

If you believe this theory what do you think is going to be the legacy of this year?

Good question. I'm too old to be able to categorise current music and thus spot a trend, but would be fascinating to see a new musical revolution happen.
