Transposing sheet music

OK I have an uncle who can do this for us

But how do we find out what key it needs to be in? We have tried all the versions on Musicnotes & they aren't right but I don't know why

BTW I can't sing - this is for DD

You could download a tuner app (I use Cleartune from iTunes but I'm sure that there are similar things for free). If your DD sings at it (one note at a time) then it tells you/displays which notes you're singing, and you could write them down, then decide which key is the closest?
