... roughly how long would you teach a child from scratch before they started on Grade 1?

Further information - is in junior school, practices around 4x a week for 15 minutes and has a one-to-one half hour lesson a week in term time.

How old was your child when he/she started learning the piano?

RandomMess · 22/04/2012 19:36

Depends on their natural aptitude as well though, and how old they are?

biffytutu · 22/04/2012 20:59

Child was eight when started learning.
