Thank you for the music!!

Was just listening to Pearl Jam & it got me thinking about music and what it means to us.

Pearl Jam has seen me through over 20 years of my life.Good times like the birth of my dc's,my wedding,getting together with friends and dark times like coping with dd2's disabilities,relationship break-ups and depression.Pearl Jam have been like an old friend to turn to,so to Eddie Vedder and the boys 'Thank you' you have given me so much!!

So what singer/band would you say 'thank you for the music' to and why??

I will always associate The Killers' ' Human' with DS's first few days. A few years ago I made a cd of the songs that I associate with particular times/people/places in my life. I called it ' The Lyrics of my Life', which in turn is a set of lyrics from a Charlatans song on the cd. There is no one particular artist that stands out, but I have a friend who follows The Levellers and New Model Army 's every move.
