To counteract the best of 2010!

What wasn't so great or was a bit of a let down?

For me it was:

Fun Loving Criminals. I can't put my finger why this gig didn't work. I came away feeling like I'd had an average night at the pub.

HIM - I was so looking forward to this gig and yet it is the only gig in 35years of going to concerts I have ever walked out.

to be honest I've had a really good year for live music. have seen some rather odd support bands but the main acts have lived up to expectation. maybe Midlake in Manchester was a bit boring and not as good as I've seen before.

You walked out of a HIM gig? They are one of my fave bands, although I've never seen them live. Was Ville having an off day or are they one of those bands that are much better on cd?

Yep! We walked.

I had been looking forward to the gig for weeks.
It was just flat, boring, no edge, nothing at all to it.

I don't think Ville even looked at the crowd let alone speak to us. I can't recall him even introducing a song.

Dull Dull Dull!

Easily Guns n Roses at Reading. I had low expectations and was still disappointed!

DD and I had Dane Bowers inflicted on us at Sheffield Tramlines.

Plus some jaw-droppingly awful rapper called Skoota or Skeeta or something like that? All da yoof were jumping up and down to him anyway. It's not that I'm too old. I like some of da yoof's music.

The Drums, just dire, so bad we went to the bar instead.
