Spotify invites anyone?

I'm possibly being quite naive here, but are there any kind souls out there with spare Spotify invitations?

hi it's been free again for the last couple of months, you don't need an invite anymore.!

Their website says only for 20 hours a month, is that not true?

A friend who is quite 'techy' told me last weekend that spotify is free, no invitation needed! I had no idea what he meant and passed his msg onto ds (15) who knew what he was talking about!!
