Just heard they're playing Milton Keynes Bowl on July 2 and 3. Tickets on sale on November 5th.
I'm so tempted but don't have the money right now.
Anyone else wanting to go to this?

Btw, support acts are Biffy Clyro, Death Cab for Cutie and Jimmy Eat World.

Arghhhh!!!! Fuck. Have zero cash and I have always wanted to see them.

Hmmm, which child could I sell...

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 28/10/2010 20:58

Am seriously tempted! bugger, didn't realise the tickets went on sale so soon.
So will need babysitting for a 4yo and a 10month old, for a whole day... that could work. Hmmm... better speak to PILs!

LyraSilvertongue · 29/10/2010 01:06

I'm definitely buying tickets. I have no money but I don't care. Grin

LyraSilvertongue · 29/10/2010 23:13

I love Foo Fighters but hate stadium concerts. I have managed to tolerate the Manchester Arena three times so wouldn't be able to cope with anything larger! Biffy Clyro are ok, I like DCforC but not keen at all on Jimmy Eat World so not sure if it is going to be worth it for me.

Anyone trying this morning for o2 priority tickets??

shelleylou · 03/11/2010 09:30

I'm trying to get tickets for DH he was surposed to see them on their last UK tour but couldnt go in then end. Will be his 30th birthday present or one of them. The support acts are different on the two MK dates

LyraSilvertongue · 03/11/2010 09:55

Sat already sold out and now in queue for Sunday. Bet they will be gone soon too. Am not hopeful. :(

smokeybacon · 03/11/2010 11:02

I don't trust the web site as now it says it's the wheelchair tickets sold out for sat. So having taken myself out of the queue for sat, shall i put myself back in it??? Am 9 months pregnant with twins - the stress will prob bring on labour!!!

smokeybacon · 03/11/2010 11:11

Fuck. Says all tickets now sold out on the o2 priority sale. Will have to put myself through it all again on Friday. Bugger bugger bugger.

ChutesTooNarrow · 03/11/2010 12:03

presale links for mailing list subscribers:

Saturday
Sunday

I've been in the queue all morning though, no tickets yet Sad

ChutesTooNarrow · 03/11/2010 13:55

W00T! There are still tickets available on pre-sale just got two for Saturday on the above link, started again and only queued for about 45 mins. The Foos are my guilty pleasure, I'm so excited Grin.

smokeybacon · 03/11/2010 16:37

Yeeeesssss! Finally. Got them through the mailing list (which I had forgotten I get). I am happy Grin

omnishambles · 03/11/2010 16:38

if they are here over the summer then they will definately do one or some of the festivals...

LyraSilvertongue · 03/11/2010 17:14

I think there's a good chance they'll headline Glastonbury one of the nights. It would fit in schedule-wise.

OP posts:
sfxmum · 03/11/2010 17:16

only time I would probably even consider such a big venue seeing as they have Biffy opening
still would be better at much smaller place

ChutesTooNarrow · 03/11/2010 18:33

I don't mind a big venue, there is something quite wonderful about standing out in the open, very slightly pissed whilst great music is played as the sun goes down. Atmosphere at the Manchester stadium gigs from a few years ago was great, you didn't lose anything from the vastness.

It does depend on the venue though, some are a bit soulless. I have been to MK bowl but it was a while ago. REM/Blur/Belly which was 1995 I think.

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 05/11/2010 09:45

Shock No tickets for me!

Clicked through to seetickets at 9am on the dot, opened ticketmaster and ticketline as back-up, couldn't get through anywhere, and now all sold out! That's one popular gig... Well, hopefully they'll release more tickets nearer the time.

Stumbleine · 05/11/2010 14:09

Got tickets for Saturday!!
