Help with Gig at Twickenham!

Gig help needed please!

I'm travelling to Twickenham for the help for heroes gig (yummy robbie!!).

I'm going by train but will be staying overnight afterwards as it'll be too late to get a train back to Cheshire.

Any tips please on where to stay - is it worth considering a hotel in London?

I'm rather concerned that I won't even be able to get any transport after the concert due to the volume of people attending.

Have been to Twickenham for a concert and on that occasion it was well organised afterwards by the marshals. We were able to make our way back to the station quite easily but we did have to wait a while for a train back into London. IIRC it was about a 10 minute walk from the station to the stadium itself.

What about Premier Inn in brentford? Only a bus ride away. Richmond? Look on South West Trains website and stay somewhere near one of the stations on the way back to London. Putney would be nice.

My dear friend has rented a luxury minibus!! I've just had a text and am so relieved - it'll be a rather late night but I'll be in my own bed.

In future I'll book up accomodation as soon as I get a 'whiff' of tickets. Hope the concert is as well organised as yours, Attila, so that we can find our minibus.
