Hey everyone, just looking for others experience when applying for ADP in Scotland. I completed first part of application 8th August, second part submitted 17th August. I received a text on 29th September saying its with a case manager awaiting a decision - I have since then sent in a couple bits of evidence and also a change of medication/dosage and was put on new medication so also informed them of this. I'm wondering if due to me sending in evidence and documents it's maybe taking a bit longer to review? I've been on web chat a couple times but they always say it's with a decision maker and they can't give a timescale which I completely understand. So it's been 8 weeks since the case manager text - does anyone else have any similar timelines and is able to share experience with applying? Thank you! X

My experience was very different because I was one of the first to go through the system. I was moved from DLA to ADP because of a change of circumstances and it took just two weeks short of a year to be approved.
I never got all the back pay I was supposed to get because both the DWP and SSS refused to pay it despite the involvement of my MSP.

I’ve heard that things are going through much more quickly now.
