Accessible holidays let's - any tips

Hello Mumsnetters. I am having to travel to Canada for a bereavement, my aunt is travelling with me but she is elderly and has significant balance and mobility issues. We would like to stay in a house/apartment rather than a hotel but I'm drawing a blank in terms of finding somewhere with step free access, walk in shower, grab handles in the bathroom etc - are there particular companies/websites that specialise in accessible holiday lets that anyone is aware of?

Any help gratefully received - as I'm getting quite worried about finding suitable accommodation

I don't know Canada at all but I would be looking at an accessible suite in a hotel I would assume step free access would be easy to figure out in a rental but grab rails etc possible not so much.

I've looked for accessible suites in hotels but drawn a blank - have ended up with two hotel rooms one fully accessible and the other not - but this doesn't give us somewhere to be together comfortably when not out and about or my aunt somewhere to be when she needs to rest.

As sitting in a bed in a hotel room isn't really relaxing.
