Hi all
We’re now on our third feeding pump - it’s a Nutricia Flocare Infinity III. We used the II for months in hospital and I don’t recall any issues but we’ve had two where the door has snapped off (despite taking care when using!) and the third which is new and looks perfectly fine. Every single one has had an issue with regularly getting the error message ‘Air in giving set’. I assumed the first two were because the door wasn’t on fully so meant there was a problem with the sensor but now it’s happening to the brand new one. We’ve followed the instructions, filled set as instructed and we’ve used them before in hospital with no issue. Has anyone else had similar problems with this pump?
It’s driving me insane. It will work fine for a few hours and then I can’t rid of the error. There are no visible bubbles and I’ve cleaned the sensor. I’ve tried refilling the line, changing the set, flushing the NG/NJ. Nothing works. My little one will be in bed and it keeps going off every few minutes, waking him.
I don’t want to keep abandoning feeds with hours left to run! Does anyone have any advice. Nutricia used to be helpful but now they’re absolutely useless.
Thanks!
