Hi! I am mom to a 11month old developmentaly delayed baby girl. I first started noticing something was off at 6 month when she had no head control no eye contact and she was a very floppy baby and she would cry for hours without any reason so we talked to the paediatrician who reffered us to a neurologist who sent us for an EEG and MRI which showed she had mild internal brain seizures which could be the reason for her delay so she was put on med to control siezures and we where told to start physiotherapy. At her 9month visit the neuro checked her for any improvement but there still was none no head control and no eyecontact so we where referred to an eye specialist to see if something is wrong with the eyes. And the ophthalmologist pointed that she has squint in both her eyes and needs to be operated. The surgery was done at 10months. Its been a month shes now 11months old but the only improvent is that her eyes dont wander any more head control is a bit better she can roll both sides but still cannot sit with or without suppot its more like she doesnt want to. Her eyes look good but she wont make eye contact or even look at things we show her. We have tried everything we could the doctors say we should wait and see. But i dont see it getting any better please if any of u have been thru the same please help us out🙏
