Can I please ask for those of you happy to answer: What are the differences from your child now compared to when they were a toddler in terms of their autistic traits? Is there anything you wish you'd have known when your DD/DS was little that you could share?

TIA 💗

Hi, my ds is 14. He was diagnosed aged 9 although we first asked for him to be assessed aged 3. I think the main difference is that now he is older he has learned to live in an NT world. It's hard for him and when he is at school he often has a confused look on his face as if he is trying to speak a language he doesn't know very well. He loves to be around other children/teenagers with autism. He doesn't speak much with them but he looks really happy and relaxed.
