Not told results on day of autism assessment?

Hi there - is it normal not to be told the results on the day of an autism assessment and to wait for the report?

Yes. The diagnosis process is complex. A colleague of mine (qualified to diagnose) told me that she herself doesn't know the results until she inputs all of the scoring data into the computer.

I got my son's diagnosis one week after his assessment.
