Not a troll post, i realize how crazy it sounds and that i need to get some help in this area as it's irrational thoughts, i know this, but who do i talk to, My GP?
What will they do, I'm not sure if it's a germ fear or a fear of being attacked, it doesn't help when I've read on here about the men who are invading women's spaces. It's all built up over the last few years and i just can't face public toilets anymore.

Try not to panic, you've identified that these thoughts are not rational which is the first step. I think going to your GP and telling them exactly how you feel and how much this anxiety is affecting your everyday life is a very good step.

Obviously nappies are not the answer in this situation.
You can self-refer to IAPTS service, find one in your area here:

Have you looked in some of the forums online that are specifically for toilet anxiety? It might help you narrow down the problem. A friend of mine struggled with public toilets, but in her case it was OCD, and an intensive CBT course made all the difference. I have toilet anxiety, but for me it is the fear that I won't make it to a toilet in time. I know where it comes from though, and that has made a huge difference to me - there's a guy with a YouTube channel who calls himself 'The Breakthrough Expert', which is a slightly off putting name, but I found his techniques made a huge difference to my toilet anxiety, and my fear of flying too.

Anyhow, I mainly wanted to say that this kind of anxiety is more common than people think, but no-one really talks about it. You're not alone!

Thank you I've also had some great advice from the mental health board on this site, which i cross posted on. I need to pluck up the courage to phone my GP.
