Something is ticking

I can't find it but I can hear it. DH has his Hmm face on. It sounds like a watch tick but it slightly intermittent. It is not the battery charger, my headphones, my phone or my pc. I think it might be my mic but I'm not sure as it doesn't sound like it's coming from quite the right place. It's driving me mad now. I'm thinking of going to bed just so I don't have to listen to the very very faint ticking...

Can anyone else hear really faint noises or get really distressed by noises? I cope better with predictable noise but something I can't place drives me insane. My DD is the same.

I am hearing a clang that sounds like a bell or a flag cable slapping against the flag pole when I go in the bathroom:..DH denies all knowledge but I know it's. Not me because I only hear it in there! Yes I hear thins other can't, I think it's because I struggle to filter noises.

I always get irritated by noises that no one else can hear or sometimes they can hear them but they don't notice them because it's just innocuous to them iyswim.

Some times TV's and other electronics give off a high frequency buzzing noise, that annoys me.
