Struggling with loss of control of my own meds in hospital

I know why they have to do it, but it's driving me loopy. And they've confused schedules and I can't talk to anyone about it, cause it involves talking to people about it! And I really struggle with asking for my own take as needed pain meds.
Just think it's yet another thing that is planned for NT and bugger anyone who can't deal with it, and it's frustrating me. Sigh.

Thanks Flowers

That's an idea. I'm doing better this morning so think I'll give it as feedback when I leave (hopefully today!!)

Some wards allow you to retain your meds and self administer. Could this be an option for you? Sorry you're struggling. I dread hospital due to the loss of control.
