I'm not sure if anyone else feels this, but as an Aspie I tend to enter into conflict with people on the Internet more than I'd like to? I don't always understand the 'soft' skills necessary to converse and when people tend to type stuff onto message boards I find that they can lose some sense of proportion?

Aaarrgggghhh! Basically, I posted a complaint about the quality of Sainsbury's TU Premium Leggings on MN Style and Beauty as they had been lauded on there and certain users are accusing me of getting 'het up'. Nice.

Thanks Polter I haven't checked back. I think that I've consumed far too much caffiene this morning Brew

Well, shit, I'm always being accused of being heartless and lacking compassion in Chat and Aibu. As far as I'm concerned my responses are sensible and based on common sense, but I'm often finding myself in trouble Grin

Yeah, that was me. I now recognise that I had a meltdown when I lost it with the neighbour and called the police. I'm really territorial as well.

MrsLogicFromViz · 29/12/2015 13:20

Sorry to hear that you've been experiencing similar issues Hidden. I rarely venture into the AIBU pages as there seem to be an awful lot of MNers on there spoiling for a fight. Ditto the S&B when an OP, seeking advice regarding plus size clothing, is castigated for being a size 14+.

Neighbours - arrrggghhh! A few years ago the party wall family had a horrendous on the cheap extension which lasted for about ten months. Their dodgy builders worked Sundays and Bank Holidays and ruined my DS's first birthday party.

I'm glad to read that I am not the only one finding AIBU replies mean and upsetting!

hiddenhome2 · 29/12/2015 23:56

I can't figure out what the NTs want. They seem to engage in so much sentimental and emotional fliff flaff and then go ballistic if you reply with something perfectly reasonable. Then, you discover that you've committed the heinous crime of upsetting someone Confused

Not by informing them that they're stupid, ugly, boring, whatever, but merely by answering the question that the OP has asked.

Life for them seems to be one big roller coaster of emotion.

MrsLogicFromViz · 30/12/2015 16:55

I do get the distinct impression that some MNers use multiple accounts to back up their own arguments? It's very strange behaviour, that's for sure.
