We've been asked by Turn2us and Home-Start to find out about how you and your family are faring in the current economic climate - whether money worries are affecting your relationship with your children and partner, and to find out how clued up you feel about benefits and grants.

Please take a few moments to complete this survey. All data from this survey is completely anonymous and confidential.

Turn2us helps people understand the often complex world of benefits and grants. The free, confidential Turn2us service helps people in financial need find out if they are claiming all the benefits they are entitled to, plus it give information on the various charitable funds which are there to help people who are struggling to make ends meet.

This survey is open to all Mumsnetters in the UK and Ireland who have at least one child.

Everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win £250 of Amazon vouchers!

Thanks and good luck, MNHQ.

Done.

Although I was surprised there when asking about what we'd given up it was just about the children.

DH and I have given up new clothes, nights out and cut back on other luxuries... so I can pay for things for DS. That wasn't reflected in the survey but I'd have thought it quite relevant?

We've always bought books/clothes from charity shops; now we just buy fewer!

Will always get fresh fruit/veg and cut back on other things in order to do so.
