The pandemic has, of course, affected all of us in some way. We are interested in hearing from parents with at least one child at school how things have been and how they are now.

This survey is open to Mumsnet users with at least one child who has been enrolled in a school during academic years 2019/2020 or 2020/2021

All who complete the survey will receive an entry into our monthly prize draw where 3 Mumsnet users will win a £150 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Click here to complete the survey.

Thanks and good luck!

I tried to fill in this survey but couldn't as I didn't supervise the pieces of work my year 9/10 did. In year 9 he was sitting at the table opposite me but I didn't know when he was doing a worksheet etc. Headphones on (for both of us) so didn't know when teacher/you tube.
Year 10 he's been in his room when at home for mutual sanity.

At no point did the survey have an option to state there were two different schools involved. Thousands of children changed schools between lockdown 1 and 2.
I was not so happy with school 1, but delighted with school 2.

I hadn't realised how shitty my sons lockdown education had really been until I did this 🤦🏼‍♀️ Love grading the government

Lax parent of older teenager here. I've no idea how many hours a day were offered or taken up, and certainly no clue how many of those were worksheets, videos or whatever.

Also no way to put 'N/A' for how the return to school has been handled, if your child left school between lockdown 1 and 2.

Sorry - would have been happy to try to complete it, but computer says no.
