Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and we want to find out a bit more about how Mumsnet users celebrate it, whether they enjoy the day, and what your ideal Mother’s Day looked like. This survey is open to all female Mumsnetters in the UK or Ireland who have at least one child aged 1 year or older.

Click here to complete the survey.

Thanks and good luck!

Done 😊

WishUponAStar88 · 12/02/2018 22:51

Done! But mostly “I can’t remember” answers I’m afraid!

MummyBtothree · 13/02/2018 07:20

Done!

Ikabod · 13/02/2018 09:10

Done. I can't remember if it was Mother's Day 2016 or '17 that I had to remind DH that it was ME who was supposed to be having a lie in while HE was emptying the dishwasher and feeding DD!

Done, but I barely remember yesterday, so there’s no chance I’d remember Mother’s Day 2017.

All done :)

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 14/02/2018 19:41

Not very impressed by the answer options for 'do you mark the day for your DM?' being yes I do/no I don't, etc, while the following question 'do you mark the day for MIL?' being yes WE do/no WE don't, etc.

Really?

Theimpossiblegirl · 14/02/2018 23:25

Done, but there were questions where it would have been good to be able to select more than one option (I got flowers, chocs and wine but could check only one).

Done but I did rather think the survey was aimed at women who have very fixed ideas of how Mother’s Day should be fine and are terminally disappointed by their families.

My DH and D.C. always make Mother’s Day lovely but I don’t have any fixed views on what “lovely” constitutes.

I’m not bothered by how much time I have in bed or alone, by what gift they buy me or whether I do any childcare or housework.

A nice, fun day spent with my family is lovely but there’s lots of ways to do that.

On the other hand I get two Mother’s days now we live in the US, the U.K. one and the US one.

Yes. It did feel like it had been written by someone who’d been reading too much AIBU.

colleysmill · 15/02/2018 19:44

Done. One slight niggle though it's Mothering Sunday - my own (deceased) mother was quite the pedant about that point Do you think the Food Scanner app helped you to make healthier food and drink choices?Grin

colleysmill · 15/02/2018 19:45

Oops slight cut and paste from previous competition in my comment!

dannydog1 · 15/02/2018 20:31

Done and it seems I had the perfect Mother’s Day!

SnowWhitesRestingBitchFace · 16/02/2018 10:18

Done, I can't believe the year has gone so quickly that it's nearly that time again.

grasspigeons · 16/02/2018 17:17

done but my mothers day is about my mum not me as a mother so it wasn't that relevant

GrouchyKiwi · 16/02/2018 20:48
