We've got a few questions for you about where and how you made your decisions to buy items for your baby.

This survey is open to all UK MNers who have had a baby in the last 2 years.

Please fill in the survey here

Everyone who completes the survey will be entered in to a prize draw where one person will win a £50 Love2Shop voucher.

Many thanks!

Done.
But I think the questions regarding products and where recommendations came from should have an option to say they weren't used. For instance, I chose to exclusively formula feed, so I never needed a breast pump, so I never had any recommendations about them.

Agree that you need options for "did not use".

Also, there was no option for if you bought second hand goods rather than bought items online or in store - e.g. Prams, nursery furniture.

Scrowy · 21/11/2017 21:56

Or if like my DP you didn't have any recommendations and literally just went into a baby shop and pointed at the stuff you liked the look of whilst two jolly sales assistants totted it all up on a calculator and rubbed their hands with glee.

There wasn't an option for that.

No option for being given stuff either. My breast pump is second-hand - I didn't buy it, it is a hand-me-down from a friend. We never used formula either so no need to research or procure a steriliser.

Done, although there was no option for not being recommended anything. Some things I just went and bought without anyone’s advice.

cakeandteajustforme · 22/11/2017 14:15

And no option for ‘I don’t know how i decided but I was always just going to use x’ eg pampers nappies are so ingrained as the ‘done thing’

WishUponAStar88 · 22/11/2017 20:46

Done!

chocolateorangeowls · 22/11/2017 21:19

Agree as above, not enough answer options

hrfvenia · 23/11/2017 09:19

Done but as pp have said, not particularly accurate as we got a lot of things second hand/didn’t have a need to buy things like breast pumps.
