Let’s talk about what you wear to work!

Please take a few minutes to complete this survey then add your details at the end and you will be entered into the prize draw where one winner will win a £200 Love2Shop voucher. All data is confidential.

This survey is open to all female, UK Mumsnetters who work (or used to work) at a place outside of their home. If you are no longer working, please answer the questions thinking about your last place of employment.

Feisty. Flirtatious. Hmm

ouryve · 03/03/2016 14:47

Well, that was odd.

Done. Most of it was fine but the colour questions were a bit weird.

Anyway, I have a vitally important question.

Why do the areas of the UK where you live change between surveys? Confused

Sometimes I can pick East of England. But this one had East Anglia. Why is that? I never know where to say I am anyway. That little Cambridgeshire, north Herts, north Essex sort of area. I doesn't feel like the SE, it just about feels like the East of England, but it definitely doesn't feel like East Anglia...

Done. Agree about the colour questions. "Flirtatious"??

However, I work in training and when running big courses or events I actually did used to wear red when I felt confident or wanted to inspire confidence, black, navy or grey for seriousness, pink for a positive atmosphere.

As for yellow - I don't know anyone who looks good in yellow! Certainly not me!

Lordy. I can usually tell where surveys are headed/what their purpose is, but I am bemused by this one!

Yes the colour question is a bit strange.

But so is the question about dress code. I would imagine smart office wear being suits. And then the next category is casual including jeans. Isn't there a medium between the two? I don't wear suits and shirts/blouses, but I don't wear jeans either. It's trousers, skirts with a top (but not logo t-shirts).

Why is there a question about gender when you specify that the survey is for female MNers? Are you going for MNers of female sex who might ID as something else?
