We'd love folks on MN and Gransnet to please complete a survey about how your driving may or may not changed since you have had children/grandchildren. It is open to All UK Mumsnetters and Gransnetters with at least one child or grandchild who drive a car at least once a week.

Here's the link - www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/H5RZDWY

Everyone who takes part will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will receive a £250 John Lewis voucher.

Thanks and good luck with the prize draw!

thanks

Have you recently changed the person who compiles these surveys HQ? This is the second or third I've filled in for you in the past month or so that has been really thoughtlessly worded.

I thought the questions were quite leading too ie you're all nervous women drivers, especially when driving children, in what ways are you dangerous nervous and how can we men make you less nervous? Or was it just me who picked up that undertone? Not a well written survey in any way especially as it was very tricky to answer "actually I'm not a nervous/unsafe driver and never have been irrespective of having children in the car, thanks very much". Hmm

You weren't the only one elpth. I've been driving for 20 years, I'm the only driver in our family because DH has never learned how to drive. I am not nor have I ever been a nervous driver and my driving has not changed since I had DC.

anyways... Now I've criticised the questionnaire, I'm not likely to win it am I? Wink

Same here elpth. I ended up putting n/a to a lot of them.

Yes it had crossed my mind that criticising it might rule me out of winning the prize draw! But depends if it's a blind equal chance draw or dependent on quality of submission/comments etc.
Glad I'm not the only one though!
