Although we're only in May, here at Mumsnet Towers we are starting to think about Christmas! Christmas and everything that goes along with it is such a big topic for us and we are very keen to hear about your experiences, thoughts and plans for Christmas past and Christmas future.

If you are interested in sharing your festive insights with us please click here.

This survey is open to ALL Mumsnetters and everyone who completes this survey will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky Mumsnetter will win £200 Amazon voucher.

Thanks
MNHQ

EnjoyTheSimpleThingsInLife · 15/05/2015 16:58

Cannot believe it is a survey about Christmas but have done it anyway Grin

Iloveonionchutney · 15/05/2015 17:18

All done, thank you Grin

Iwasbornin1993 · 15/05/2015 19:09

Ooo Christmas! Done!

MoJangled · 15/05/2015 21:31

Done. I assumed 'in total' to the present budget above - hope that's right!

BaronVonShush · 16/05/2015 07:14

Dammit, I did present budget as each! Oops.

I love a good survey.

Mousefinkle · 16/05/2015 07:54

Done Smile

AvengingGerbil · 16/05/2015 08:00

You do realise that this will probably be a very biased sample, don't you? Most of us Christmas-joy refusers will blank out a Christmas thread...

HookedOnHooking · 16/05/2015 11:30

Done. But there is nothing in there about people who work over Christmas. What I do over christmas and where we'll be depends on whether I am working.

MagpieCursedTea · 16/05/2015 14:31

Done. Yay Christmas!

jn367502 · 16/05/2015 15:13

done. I love this survey. my favourite time of the year

DinosaursRoar · 16/05/2015 17:51

Done. I'd actually had a Christmas gift conversation earlier today, but that was only that it's DC2's birthday soon as we'd discussed what we'd get for birthday and what we'd save for Christmas.

DingleberryFinn · 16/05/2015 18:36

This > I got confused by the "how much did you spend on presents" question - should it be "each" or "in total"?

I don't know the total, I can roughly tell you "each person" budget though, as that's what I budget against.

mugglingalong · 16/05/2015 19:20

Done. Interesting that the highest age category is 46+. Seems as if old age will hit when I reach 46.

SideOrderofChips · 16/05/2015 19:29

All done _

I've started my christmas shopping already

CalamitouslyWrong · 16/05/2015 19:39

I have no idea how to answer the how much you spend on different people question either. The answer is very different depending on whether it's individual or in total.

MakeMeJumpIntoTheAir · 16/05/2015 22:26

Done, also surprised at the age categories

blessedenough · 17/05/2015 09:57

This will be first xmas at home (usually go to parents and ILs ) and hopefully in our new house - so excited. I am already starting to think about it as i want it to be perfect and set traditions that will stay with the kids for life.

ipswichwitch · 17/05/2015 12:39

Done. And I've started Christmas shopping already (and updated my spreadsheet accordingly!)

Olivo · 17/05/2015 16:26

Done, but disappointed in you ,Mumnset, you didn't have a category for The Channel Islands when ticking where you lived Hmm

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 17/05/2015 17:40

Done.

marshmallowpies · 17/05/2015 18:46

Done. I wasn't really thinking about Christmas yet but now i might get a teeny weeny bit excited, it will be our first with 2.

Bringmewineandcake · 17/05/2015 20:46

Too long! I did half, went off to do something else and when I came back it had reset the survey Sad

toldmywrath · 17/05/2015 21:15

Survey completed, after all it's blooming cold enough to be thinking of winter.
