I have a verruca.
Please tell me your failsafe removal techniques. No method too woo. Harsh chemicals also welcome. Dhs 'scalpel' comment made me wince

On a thread a few days ago, several people mentioned using hand sanitising gel on their verrucas had worked a treat.

After a bath, file verruca down, rub on gel, repeat.

Worth a try.

My tip is Glutarol liquid (available from all good pharmacies about £4) plus filing.

I can do hand gel but anything involving filing sets my teeth on edge
I can file dry skin but verrucas....urrrrrrrgh

Vaseline is the answer.

You need to massage your foot to get the immune system working.

You do file them when they are dry-it's actually ok. honest.

Banana peel. Supposedly you put it on every night, under a plaster and it will be gone within a week. My slightly lentil weavery friend did this when less woo methods had failed and it worked.

It was the only thing that worked on mine and some warts I had on my hands I'm not a minger

Duct tape or those competed blister plasters. Leave plaster on til it falls off, file it and replace. It makes verruca grow out instead of in, then one day the verruca will fall out with the plaster. Honestly, it works a treat! About 2-3 was in total.

Can I use the same bit of banana peel? I don't eat that many bananas
