We've been asked by BMI Healthcare to find out Mumsnetters opinons of women's health issues.

Here's what they say: "Women's gynaecological health can be complicated. The vast array of symptoms and conditions are not always easy to understand, nor are the treatment options easy to navigate or access. Often symptoms can point to a variety of different of conditions - and it's crucial women know what these are, what the serious signs are and what they can do about them. Gynaecological health isn't just about having children. It is important that women are armed with the correct information about their health - from puberty to menopause and all the different stages in between."

This survey is open to all female UK Mumsnetters aged 25-54 years. Please note, the results to the survey may be used in media activity, on the BMI Healthcare website and in social media, all data will be kept confidential.

Well its already too icky to be something you are told about during pregnancy so why not?

True. I am currently fed up as in the year since I was diagnosed I have lost three stone and massively improved my pelvic floor strength, and the rectocele had gone from moderate/severe requiring surgery to mild/almost unnoticeable (according the physio). I was so looking forward to seeing the surgeon at my annual review as although very capable and eminent she was rather lacking in bedside manner and made it rather clear she felt I needed to lose a LOT of weight and have the op ASAP. But I've foolishly just had another baby and am now slightly back to where I was! Thinner but, um, prolapsier.
